WAKEI Inc. is a company that serves as a bridge connecting digital marketing services between Japan and overseas markets. We begin by introducing and expanding outstanding Taiwanese digital marketing services into the Japanese market, aiming to make life more convenient and enriching for people in both Japan and Taiwan. With more than 25 years of experience in the digital industry, Takeshi Iryo has built his career across both Japanese and global markets.
He began his professional journey at The Sankei Shimbun and later joined All About, where he contributed to the company’s successful IPO.
At Rakuten, he led the Agency Sales Division to expand the advertising business and later served in Singapore as Director of Global Advertising, helping to establish Rakuten’s global advertising operations.
He subsequently held Japan Country Lead positions at multinational digital firms including Appier (Taiwan), Mobvista (China), InMobi (India), and Outbrain (U.S.), driving cross-border business development and digital growth.
Born in Tainan, Taiwan, and holding a master’s degree from Waseda University, Aoi joined LETSGO JP (樂吃購！日本), a digital media platform targeting audiences in Taiwan and Hong Kong, in its early stage as an editor.
Promoted to Editor-in-Chief in 2018, she expanded the platform’s monthly active users from 1 million to over 3 million and launched multiple social media and YouTube channels.
She has also been frequently invited to speak at inbound tourism events hosted by local governments.
